Language Locus Interpreting and Translation

Hello and welcome! I offer Spanish-English simultaneous and consecutive interpreting and translation, specializing in social services and law. I am a federally certified court interpreter (FCCI) and I am also certified as a Spanish court interpreter in Virginia.

My expertise in legal interpreting and translation comes from years of supporting attorneys and legal services providers, a master's degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, and my practice as an immigration attorney. 

I also have several years' experience designing and delivering community interpreter training. I am a licensed lead trainer for The Community Interpreter (TM), a curriculum created by Cross-Cultural Communications, and have a passion for excellence in teaching and training interpreters.
